It was important for me to show my mothers life and what an incredible woman she was and what she had managed to do for a woman of her generation. Travel, Career and Sports were something that women often didn't do in this era.

Wayne's Slideshow

Wayne & Laura have had a wonderful life together with their son Richard. Unfortunately Waynes life was cut short after being diagnosed with cancer Wayne and myself talked about what a slideshow would mean to him and his family. He was able to gather some of  the images himself and give me some input into what images he might like used before his passing This was extremely important to Wayne and Laura and I felt it was truly a privilege to be involved in putting this slide show together.

Laura's  comments

"As I sit & watch Kerry's tribute to my darling husband Wayne.  I can only say I feel privileged & honoured. Honoured to have Kerry on our wavelength privileged to be able to watch a masterpiece. To be able to show a celebration of Wayne's life at the funeral meant so much to all of us. The DVD not only sums up Wayne's life, it also is a keepsake to be able yo hand down to his son, Richard & perhaps even his grandchildren. The love Wayne had  for his family, all of them, his parents, grandparents siblings & especially  his love for his son & myself shows through beautifully. As does his sense of humour, his love his life his passions, He had many, Wayne lived life to the full in his words "there is no regrets". I think the value of hindsight is always something we have. At the time to share with Kerry was an effort to Wayne especially because he was already really unwell & because he was sharing his life his love of live & opening up to somebody new. Kerry handled this awesomely.  She took all she was given verbally & in photos, turned it into an art. The music she chose matches beautifully, Not only did Kerry help us with the music she made it match the photos perfectly. This is something I have realised the more I have watched the DVD. I would thoroughly recommend Kerry & this concept of "a celebration of a persons life" to all. Kerry was more awesome to us than we knew.
